Reach Manali and on arrival, our representative will escort you to the basecamp. Relax and unwind after breakfast. Later meet the team over bonfire and bbq.
After early breakfast drive to Manali then trek to Solang Nalla through old Manali village. Morning walk to Solang Nalla through Old Manali village is a small acclimatizing walk for the climbers. The path goes over the small villages and reaches Solang meadows. Set up camp for the night.
Trek to Bakarthach. Morning trek to Bakarthach through Dhundi (08 Kms). Till Dhundi, the walk is smooth either on road and forests and from Dhundi; the trek gradually starts getting altitude towards Bakarthach. It is beautiful trek leading high by crossing streams and facing mountains. The camp is set in a nice place facing several peaks.
Although the base camp route for Friendship Peak turns towards right, it is not a bad idea to check out Beas Kund when one is so close to it. We trek to Beas Kund and reach back to our camp in the afternoon.
Bakarthach to base camp of Friendship Peak. It will take about 4-5 hours to reach the base through nice moraines.
Full day in Manali with a visit to Naggar Village, Roerich Art Gallery and Vishnu Temple or those who just want to chill can go angling by the River Beas near the base.
Insurance covering high-altitude trek is mandatory for all participants including guides and porters.
Note: We advise you to carry all the belongings in a rucksack so that it is easy to move around in case of any emergency.
