    Day 1: Colonial Kochi: Discovering the Cultural Heart of Kerala

    Start your trip by arriving in Kochi and exploring the city’s colonial history and culture. Visit the Fort Kochi neighborhood, the Dutch Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, watch a traditional Kathakali dance performance.

    Day 2: Cruising the Backwaters: Experiencing the Serenity of Alleppey

    Travel to Alleppey and spend the day exploring the backwaters on a houseboat. Enjoy a delicious lunch made with locally sourced ingredients and relax as you cruise through the scenic waterways.

    Day 3: Beachside Bliss: Relaxing and Immersing in Local Village Life at Marari Beach

    Head to Marari Beach and spend the day relaxing on the beach, swimming in the sea, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, visit a nearby village to experience rural life and sample some delicious local cuisine.

    Clothing
    • Lightweight and breathable cotton clothes, as the weather can be hot and humid.
    • Comfortable walking shoes for exploring various destinations and activities.
    • A light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings or if you plan to visit hill stations like Munnar.
    • Modest clothing for visiting temples and other religious places.
    • Swimwear for beach and backwater activities.
    • A raincoat or umbrella as Kerala can experience occasional rainfall throughout the year.

    • Toiletries -Sunscreen SPF 40+, Moisturizer, Lip balm, Soap, Toilet paper.
    • Repair Kit (needle and thread).

    • Water Bottle- Ideally keep two bottles 1 liter each.
    • Trekking Pole -Optional.
    • Plastic Packing covers. (Please pack all your gear in waterproof plastic bags so that your clothes etc do not get wet while on horses or porters. Also carry extra plastic bags in case you need to pack wet clothes.)

    Note: We advise you to carry all the belongings in a rucksack so that it is easy to move around in case of any emergency.

    Kochi can be easily reached by air, train, or road. Kochi has a major international airport, Cochin International Airport, which is well-connected to major cities across India and the world. Kochi also has two major railway stations – Ernakulam Junction and Ernakulam Town – that are connected to major cities in India. Additionally, Kochi is also well-connected by road to major cities in South India.

    We strongly suggest you keep yourself adequately hydrated- possibly double your water intake.

    • Inform your friends and family before you depart for the trip and let them know that this will be a ‘No-Network’ zone.
