    Detailed Itinerary

    Day 1: Report at Basecamp in Manali - Drive to Chandertaal | 140 km - 8 hr

    Get dropped at Patlikuhl bus stop, 16 kms before main Manali bus stop. Get picked-up by the team member and report at the base camp in Haripur and meet the team members over refreshments. After bike (RE 350 cc) allotment, we will depart at 7:00 am sharp for our off roading trip through the beautiful lush green forest of Marhi and Gulaba and on to Rohtang Pass. We’ll take a refreshment break at Gulaba. We’ll have an early lunch at Chhatru (estimated time: 4 hours from the start). Next stop Batal, where we’ll stop for tea break. chandertaal is just 38 km from here and we will camp just before the lake at an exotic location in comfortable premium camping tents.

    Day 2: Chandrataal – Kunzum La – Losar – Chicham – Kibber – Ki - Kaza

    After an early breakfast, we will leave from Chandrataal and head on to Kunzum La, which is also the highest point of the trip. Enjoy this magical drive over Kunzum Pass to enter the middle land called Spiti Valley. You will enjoy the drive to Kaza greatly. Visit Ki – Kibber villages. Enjoy the most scenic drive of entire Spiti Valley between Losar and Kaza at an easy pace. We will camp wherever we please keeping in mind, the long hard ride back to Manali.

    Stay: Homestay in Kaza

    Meals: Refreshments, Breakfast and Dinner (Veg)

    Day 3: Kaza – Rangrik - Kunzum La – Batal – Chhatru – Rohtang Pass – Manali Basecamp

    After an early breakfast, we will leave for our camping site. From here, we will ride/drive back to Chhatru for lunch and then continue to basecamp in Manali while passing Rohtang Pass. Upon reaching basecamp your trip ends and guests who are taking bus back to Delhi/Chandigarh can get dropped to bus station.

    Meals: Refreshments and Breakfast

    **Guests who are travelling the next day are welcome to extend their stay at the base or himalayan jungle Lodge.    Relax at the Himalayan Jungle Lodge or go angling (some nice spots near our base) the next day. Paragliding and rafting can also be arranged, before we part ways here to meet soon for our next adventure.

    • Meals at “Dhabas” or during road travel

    Additional Activities

    Items to Carry

    Clothing
    • Backpack 40 – 50 Lt. with rain cover.
    • Day Pack 15 – 20 Lt. -To carry your personal gear,camera, water bottle, trail clothing, packed food etc.
    • Trekking Shoes: High-ankle waterproof
    • 2-3 pairs of cotton socks and 1-2 pairs of woolen socks
    • Pants: 2-3 pairs -quick dry lightweight. Alternatively, track pants are also comfortable to hike in.
      T-shirts 2-3 pairs–Preferably full sleeves
      Synthetic Fleece Jacket’ sweater -1 pair.
      Waterproof Jacket -1 pair.
    • Down filled / Hollow fibre fill insulated Jacket – 1 pair (optional-get this if you want to stay extra warm at camps.)
    •  A woolen cap for the head and ears
      Thermal liners-1 pair upper and lower
    Miscellaneous
    • Toiletries -Sunscreen SPF 40+, Moisturizer, Lip balm, Soap, Toilet paper.
    • Repair Kit (needle and thread).
    • Headlamp/ Torch.
    • Camera.
    • Water Bottle- Ideally keep two bottles 1 liter each.
    • Trekking Pole -Optional.
    • Plastic Packing covers. (Please pack all your gear in waterproof plastic bags so that your clothes etc do not get wet while on horses or porters. Also carry extra plastic bags in case you need to pack wet clothes.)

    Note: We advise you to carry all the belongings in a rucksack so that it is easy to move around in case of any emergency.
