Pin Bhabha pass is a cross over pass from Kinnaur Valley to Spiti Valley and Pin Parvati pass is a cross over from Spiti Valley to Parvati Valley. The starting point of this trek is in Kafnu, which lies in the lush green Kinnaur and we cross over from Pin Bhabha pass and end at Kaza in Spiti. The trail to Pin Parvati pass starts in Kaza, which is in Spiti and ends in Barshaini which is in Parvati Valley. Lake Beas Kund (3540 m) is the best place for the Base Camp of Expedition. From here one can clearly see the next tough route of Tentu Pass (4996 m). The next camp is usually set up in the Tentu Pass. Tentu Pass is the mixture of snow, ice and rock with the gradient up to 75° to 80°, which makes the climb difficult and exhaustive. After Tentu Pass a traverse to the mountain leads us from North – West ridge to South – East ridge. During this traverse, climbers have to face lots of crevasses in the glacier. At the end of the traverse just before the South – East ridge we will set up our summit camp. The last phase of climb is from Summit Camp to summit which includes the climb of the South- West face which later meets the South- West ridge and finally summit.

The Tosh Nallah meets the Parbati River at Pulga coming from the North. It is initially narrow but as you progress higher the valley starts to open up and you cross several beautiful meadows. At the head of the valley is the Tosh Glacier surrounded by some well-known peaks: Papasura (6451m),Dharamsura (6466m.) & White Sail (6446m). After crossing Sara Umga Pass, it descends into Lahaul valley.The trail to the untouched meadow leads to the glacial lake point, further trailing up to the Sara Umga Pass located at the height of 4700m. is truly a test of physical endurance and mental strength.
